(DALIANNEWS)- Here is a piece of good news for Dalian football fans! Dalian football fans will be able to watch the FIFA Club World Cup 2021 and AFC Asian Cup 2023 at home! 

According to the report, Dalian, together with Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Shenyang, Jinan and Hangzhou, will jointly host the FIFA Club World Cup from June to July in 2021. After the reform, the FIFA Club World Cup will be held every four years with 24 teams participating in a total of 32 matches. It will become the most influential football event in the world with the highest competitive level.

The AFC Asian Cup 2023 will be held from June to July in China. As the highest level and most influential football event in Asia hosted by AFC, there will be 24 teams participating in the event and 51 high-level matches will be held. Dalian, together with Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Chongqing, Chengdu, Xi'an, Qingdao, Xiamen, Suzhou become the host cities of the AFC Asian Cup 2023.
