(DALIANNEWS)- "Haiyangdao Cup" Dalian Changshan Marathon 2019, the first race of "Run in Dalian" Running Series, will take place at Changhai County in Dalian, a port city of Northeastern China's Liaoning Province, September 8, 2019. The event which has been held succesfuly for four years, is an island marathon with the longest history in China and the largest number of domestic cosplay runners. About 80 percent of the race track is close to the sea, including a 1.7-kilometer sea-crossing bridge. Wang Junxia, China's 5,000-meter Olympic champion, will also join in the opening ceremony, competing with other runners. "Run in Dalian" Running Series will last for one year, featuring lots of running events which also include Dalian International Marathon.
