(DALIANNEWS)- The global dancers eye on Dalian once again! Dazzling lights, beautiful dances together with cheerful music contribute to an impressive audio-visual feast of dance for the port city of Dalian. More than 3,000 world-class dancers from 36 countries and regions gathered in the 2019 WDSF World Cup (Standard) & World Open (Latin) which took place at Dalian Sports Center on July 20 to 21, 2019.

Italian dancers Galuppo Francesco and Pacini Debora were crowned in the final of the World Cup (Standard) dance group, while Russian dancers Armem Tsaturyan and Svelana Gudyno won the championship in the World Open (Latin) dance group.

Chinese dancers also had a good performance during the event. Shao Huinan and Wei Ji, young dancers from Dalian International Dance School won the fifth place in the event, setting a new record of Chinese athelets in this competition. The top three of the Rising Stars Latin were all gained by Chinese dancers.

Dancers astonished audiences through their perfect dance skill and style which delivered aesthetic appeal of a sport. The two-day event attracted thousands of local audiences. They clapped their hands to the rhythm of the music and cheered the dancers in the pool, which impressed the global dancers with great passion and warmth. 

The 2019 WDSF World Cup (Standard) & World Open (Latin) attracts lots of audiences in Dalian.

“It is amazing to enjoy such a grand dance contest in Dalian. I have seen so many top dancers from across the world, which makes me eye-opening. People in Dalian are always having a drive to love and pursuit beauty.”, said a local lady surnamed Zhang.

Hosted by World Dance Sport Federation, China Dance Sport Federation and Dalian Municipal Government, the 2019 WDSF World Cup (Standard) & World Open (Latin) was held in Dalian for the first time, providing a good opportunity for dance lovers and athelets in Dalian or even in Northeast China to get close contact with world-class dancers.
