(DALIANNEWS)- The 7th Dalian Kite Contest and the 2nd “Heishijiao Cup” Shahekou District Kite Festival kick off at the Heishijiao Square in Dalian, a port city of Northeastern China’s Liaoning Province, May 15, 2019. The event attracted more than 250 people from 18 kite teams and clubs, hitting a historical record in the number of participants. On the spot, lots of traditional intangible cultural heritage items including cloth art, calligraphy and painting, paper-cuts and sugar figurine were also on display.
