(DALIANNEWS)- The National Youth U Series Swim Competition 2019 (Dalian Division) concluded in Dalian, a port city of Northeastern China's Liaoning Province, April 14, 2019.

The two-day competition attracted more than 500 young athletes of 45 teams from 20 domestic provinces and cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Guangdong, Tianjin, Sichuan, Jiangsu and Zhejiang. Over 200 young athletes from all over the country competed as individuals. All the athletes' ages are between 7 and 18.

With a total of 78 categories, the competition includes freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly stroke as well as basic technical events and all-around events.

The competition will set up 9 divisions and 2 finals from this year's February to December, giving high-level competition opportunity to the young atheletes.
