CGG WSF Women's World Team Championship 2018 opens in Dalian, a port city of Northeastern China’s Liaoning Province, September 11, 2018.

It is the first time for China and even for Asia to host this event which is the WSF’s international A-category event.

A total of 16 delegations from Canada, Egypt, the UK, Finland, France, Germany, India, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Africa, Switzerland, the USA, China and other countries and regions take part in this event which is held every two years.

The top 10 players in women’s world squash rankings will compete in the following five days, and the defending champions from Egypt with five top 10 players in the world rankings are firm favourites to take the title this year.

The event adopts full glass wall squash courts for players in each match, which can also provide an excellent watching experience for audience.   

The event will continue to September 16, and the final will be held on the afternoon of this Saturday.
