(DALIANNEWS)- The 15th Dalian International Beach Culture Festival 2018 will kick off at the Golden Pebble Beach in Dalian, a port city of Northeastern China's Liaoning Province, June 30 to August 25, 2018.

This year's beach festival will propose a concept of "No Plastics on the Beach" for the first time, calling on the domestic and overseas tourists not to use and drop plastic products. The authority also highlights the concept of environmental protection and ecological tourist attraction through producing environmental video and holding theme activities.

The festival will also include seafood festival, beach beer festival, zither(Guzheng) festival, football contest and wedding show for the first time, and set entertainment stage, beach recreation facilities and exercise programs.

During the festival, several activities will be held such as opening ceremony, International Youth Culture Art Festival, Golden Pebble Beach Zither(Guzheng) Culture Festival, International Beach Ultimate Frisbee Open and International Amateur Beach Volleyball Contest.

The opening ceremony designed by the planning team of CCTV Spring Festival Gala for the first time will be broadcasted by Dalian TV and Jinpu New District TV.
