(DALIANNEWS)- The 15th Dalian International Walking Festival will be held in Dalian, a port city of Northeastern China's Liaoning Province, May 20 to 21, 2017.

The festival will set up a main venue at Donggang music fountain square for the first time and five sub-venues in Lvshun on May 20, Jinshitan, Ganjingzi district and High-tech Park on May 21, as well as Pulandian on May 27.

The 30-kilometer, 20-kilometer and 5-kilometer courses will be arranged on May 20 along Binhai Road, while the other 20-kilometer, 10-kilometer and 5-kilometer courses will also be arranged on May 21.

The online registration work has started from April 10, 2017 and the on-site registration will be open for applicants early in May. The recruitment of more than 2,000 volunteers from 21 local universities and colleges have also be finished at present.

The application fee is five yuan per person, including a brochure(certificate) and a life insurance during the event.

The opening ceremony will be held at Donggang music fountain square at 8:00 am, May 20, 2017.
