(DALIANNEWS)- Dalian International Cherry Festival is due to kick off at the Jinpu new district in Dalian, a port city of Northeastern China’s Liaoning Province, June 7, 2016.

Now the cherries see a well growth in Dalian. According to the local agricultural experts, the port city will witness a cherry ripening season in early June this year.

As a major venue of the cherry festival, the Jinpu new district will include a total of eight activities such as the press conference of this festival, opening ceremony, cherry-picking tour, gourmet culture festival and cooking contest, calligraphy and painting show, summit, as well as closing ceremony of the cherry festival and opening of Dalian International Blueberry Festival.
