(DALIANNEWS)- The port city of Dalian will host two international sports events, including the Dalian International Marathon Race and Dalian International Walking Festival, in May this year, news announced from a special conference held by the city’s government on April 29, 2016.

The 29th Dalian International Marathon Race will kick off at the international conference center in Donggang CBD, Dalian, a port city of Northeastern China’s Liaoning Province, 8:00 am, May 22, 2016. The marathon race with 7 categories and 14 events will attract more than 20,000 players. It will also broadcast live on CCTV for the first time.

The 14th Dalian International Walking Festival will be held from May 14 to 15 this year. During the festival, Dalian will host the annual meeting of the IML Walking Association for the first time.
