(DALIANNEWS)– The 28th Dalian International Marathon Race will take place at the Golden Pebble Beach in Dalian, Northeast China’s Liaoning Province, May 9, 2015.

Now the recruitment for the event has been concluded, attracting 14,967 athletes from home and abroad.

The marathon race will start at 8:30 am at the Golden Pebble Beach, including seven event and 13 categories such as Men’s and Women’s Marathon, Men’s and Women’s Marathon Relay, Men’s Wheelchair Marathon, Men’s and Women’s Half Marathon, Men’s and Women’s Wheelchair Half Marathon, Men’s and Women’s 10km Marathon, as well as Men’s and Women’s Mini Marathon.

The event will also invite 114 high-level athletes from Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda and other countries.

Professional marathon medical rescue team will also be brought in for the first time during the event.
