(DALIANNEWS)- The organizing committee of the 12th National Games Dalian Racing Area sent out a total of 3,000 free tickets for six sport games in the past few days in Dalian, a port city of Northeastern China's Liaoning Province.

The six sport games include baseball, rowing, canoeing, kayaking, sailing and sail boarding.

About 13,000 tickets for these events will continue to be offered to local residents at the free-ticket booths at the entrances to the racing areas until September 11.

The ticket work for the 12th National Games Dalian Racing Area runs well at present. A total of 12,000 tickets have been sold out in recent days, among which, tickets for popular events such as the final and semi-final of the synchronized swimming have been sold out basically.

The 12th National Games Dalian Racing Area will host 11 major terms, 14 sub-terms, and 74 minor terms, accounting for 35 percent of the overall events of the National Games this year.

A total of 88 gold medals will be captured at Dalian racing area, taking up 22 percent of the total gold medals of the 12th National Games.

Dalian Racing Area will receive more than 6,000 players, technical officials and referees from domestic cities, and provide 22 venues for training and competition during the event.
