(DALIANNEWS)- The 6th Dalian International Martial Art Culture Festival will kick off at the Labour Park in Dalian, Northeast China’s Liaoning Province, October 1, 2011.

The six-day festival will attract thousands of contestants at home and abroad to compete for over 2,000 awards in more than 60 events.

Contestants from Japan, South Korea and China will attend the contests during the festival, according to the report from Dalian Evening News.

Apart from the martial art performances and contests, there will also be a photo exhibition and an essay contest during the festival.
