The construction of this 400-square-meter skating rink supposedly involved advanced technology that Japan developed for its 1998 Winter Olympics. This modern rink boasts consistent temperatures hovering at 15 degrees Centigrade (59 Fahrenheit). For beginners, there are handrails and teaching instructions from professional coaches. In the winter of 2000, the first annual Dalian Ice Lamp Exhibition was held at the rink, featuring a stunning display of beautiful ice sculptures. Admission: CNY25 per hour on weekdays. CNY30 per hours on weekends and holidays.
