In-Depth Tourism in Japan Gets Popular

(DALIANNEWS)- Dalian Winter Outbound Tourism Meeting 2018 was held in Dalian, a port city of Northeastern China's Liaoning Province, November 27, 2018.

The development and cooperation of the in-depth tourism in Japan highlighted the meeting, attracting a huge number of exhibitors who would like to develop the tourism market in Northeast China via the platform of Dalian. 

The meeting attracted representatives from 15 Japanese prefectures and municipalities, as well as over 30 exhibitors from Japanese major travel enterprises and airlines. Apart from local tourism companies, representatives from more than 70 tourism enterprises in Liaoning province, Heilongjiang province and Jilin province also made one-to-one exchanges with Japanese firms.  

During the event, the in-depth tourism in Japan has become a hot spot of cooperation between Japanese companies and Chinese ones in the future. 

According to the exhibitors from Hiroshima, Japan, there are four direct flights per week between Hiroshima and Dalian, and brand new tourism routes have also been developed this November, making Wakayama-Ken a new tourist destination for the middle and high-end tourists.

 “We have received one to three tour groups every month since this January when Dalian promoted in-depth tourism in Wakayama-Ken.” , said a representative from Wakayama-Ken, Japan, where is endowed with abundant tourism resources such as hotspring, ancient path, medical experience and special seafood. 

“We will continue to further connect with travel agencies in Dalian and even Northeast China in the future.”, the Japanese representative added. 

The skiing tour is a highlight in winter in Niigata, Japan, where has the famous hot spring resource with a history of 900 years. With its unique tourist resources, it has begun to attract a huge number of youth skiing groups from Dalian in winter. The mainstream of the outbound tourism products in Japan has developed from panoramic and one-place tours to today's in-depth tours.
