(DALIANNEWS)- The port city of Dalian received a revenue of 73.15 billion yuan in tourism in the first half of this year, an increase of 12.89 percent than that of the previous year, according to the city’s tourism development committee on July 17, 2018.
It is expected to exceed the total revenue of 143.4 billion yuan this year, up 12 percent than that of the last year.
From January to June this year, the city has seen 572,100 overnight overseas visitors, up 3.85 percent, and 45.3882 million domestic tourists, up 10.78 percent. Dalian reaped 296.3219 million US dollars in foreign income, increasing 3.91 percent, and 71.226 billion yuan in domestic tourism revenue, up 13.2 percent.
The coastal city of Dalian also saw up 45.9603 million tourists in the first half of this year, up 10.69 percent than that of the last year.
