(DALIANNEWS)- The port city of Dalian witnessed 823,700 domestic and overseas tourists during the three-day Dragon Boat Festival holiday from June 16 to 18 this year, increasing 10.85 percent than that of the previous year.
The comprehensive tourism revenue achieved 1.092 billion yuan during this period, up 12.83 percent than that of the last year.
The city's tourist attractions received 848,300 tourists and local citizens, up 10.6 percent, gaining 86.3707 million yuan in business revenue, a growth of 12.9 percent during the past three-day festival. Among them, the city's hot springs saw 78,900 tourists, up 10.8 percent, and the rural tour received 173,000 tourists, up 11.2 percent.
The parent-child tour, self-driving tour and camping, as well as cherry-picking tour highlighted the three-day festival holiday. Apart from that, a series of activities such as the city's first international dynamic lights art festival and the temple fair presenting the culture of old Beijing were also held during the holiday.
