BEIJING, May 27 (Xinhua) -- A meeting of the International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing concluded Sunday in Beijing.
The meeting convened from Saturday to Sunday, with entrepreneurs from a variety of international businesses exchanging ideas about building Beijing into a national high-tech and innovation center, further opening up the capital city's service sector and enhancing its urban management.
Beijing mayor Chen Jining said that Beijing hopes to receive the guidance and support of the business advisory council to benefit from advanced experience from around the world.
The International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing was established in 1999, with business leaders from world-renowned enterprises invited to help with Beijing's development and its international influence. It currently has 31 members.
