ANKARA, April 26 (Xinhua) -- The foreign ministers of Turkey, Russia and Iran will meet to discuss Syria issues in Moscow on Saturday, Turkish Foreign Ministry announced early Thursday.

"The foreign ministers of Turkey, Russia and Iran, the guarantors of the Astana platform, will hold a meeting in Moscow on April 28," the ministry said in a statement.

On April 4, the three countries held a tripartite summit on Syria in Turkey's capital Ankara, with the participation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

The leaders highlighted their determination to speed up efforts to ensure calm and fight against separatism in Syria, as well as to provide humanitarian aid to conflict areas.
