Calligraphy Contest Held in Dalian

(DALIANNEWS)- A total of 60 children from Russia, America, South Korea and China take part in a calligraphy contest in Dalian, a port city of Northeastern China’s Liaoning Province, March 3, 2018. A calligraphy contest on handwriting of Chinese character "Chun", which means spring in English, was held here on Saturday. Initiated in 2004, the calligraphy contest has been held for 14 years, attracting more than 7,000 contestants including over 100 foreigners. It has become one of the most influential cultural activities in Dalian during the Spring Festival period.
