(DALIANNEWS)- The central and eastern European countries are currently facing the economic structure adjustment and infrastructural facilities upgrading, while the city of Dalian has a sound condition for opening to the outside world and a strong industrial base. How can we dig out the advantages of Dalian city to develop economic cooperation with central and eastern European countries?
Dong Jing, a member of Dalian Committee of the CPPCC, proposes to set up the Central and Eastern Europe International Cooperation Industrial Park at Jinpu New Area in Dalian, a port city of Northeastern China’s Liaoning Province, January 23, 2018.
Dong also suggests to make it one of the local government’s key tasks, and advises the government to support this industrial park in policies, capital, land and major projects.
“The international industrial cooperation refers to many aspects such as economy, culture and law. We should strive to upgrade the construction of the Central and Eastern Europe International Cooperation Industrial Park to the national level positively.”, said Dong Jing.
According to the proposal, the industrial park should have a high starting point in layout, a high standard in infrastructural facilities, a high level in public service, national treatment for market access, efficient coordination for supervision, and also bring in powerful private enterprises and foreign consortiums.
“Special fund can be set up in this park to support the major infrastructural facilities and industrial projects. Supports to R&D centers, high-tech enterprises as well as merger and acquisition should be intensified. Domestic and overseas powerful financial institutions and enterprises should be attracted positively.”, Dong added.
Dong also advises to construct a “Material-Product-Waste-Material” circulatory economy industrial chain in this park.
