Guide Dogs lead the way for visually impaired tourists during cherry blossom festival

(DALIANNEWS)- Tourists had a close contact with 12 guide dogs at No.203 Cherry Blossom Park in Lvshun, Dalian, a port city of Northeastern China’s Liaoning Province, on Sunday, and some of them experienced the guide dogs’ guiding service with their eyes covered.

According to the report, guide dogs from Dalian Guide Dog Training Center are free for the visually impaired.

A total of three guide dogs have already provided the service for the visually impaired tourists at the park during the cherry blossom festival.

The International Guide Dog Day falls on the last Wednesday of April every year, so as to commemorate the guide dogs’ contribution to the mankind.
