(DALIANNEWS)- A heavy fog hits the port city of Dalian on Thursday morning, causing flights canceled and ferries stopped.
Local meteorological authority has also issued a red alert for heavy fog early in the morning, reminding that the city’s visibility will reduce to less than 50 meters.
A total of 30 flights have been canceled at the local airport as of 8:40 am due to the visibility coming down to zero caused by thick fog.
The dense fog also disrupted ferry service at the Port of Dalian this morning.
Two ferries heading to Changhai county which were scheduled to set off at 8 am and 8:20 am were stopped due to the thick fog on the sea.
