(DALIANNEWS)- A working conference for the upcoming Spring Festival travel rush starting from January 13 to February 21 next year was held in Dalian, a port city of Northeastern China’s Liaoning Province, December 28, 2016.
During the meeting, local transport enterprises are required to make reasonable transport plans to assign trains, coaches, ferries and flights, so as to deal with the increasing passengers and all possible severe weather such as snowfall, heavy fog, frost, low temperature and cold wave.

According to the report, the port city of Dalian is expected to transport up to 12.277 million passengers during the Spring Festival travel rush, essentially unchanged from the previous year.
The peak time for passenger transport will fall on January 22 to 26, 2017 before the Spring Festival, as well as January 31 to February 3 and February 10 to 12, 2017 after the Spring Festival.
