(DALIANNEWS)- A comprehensive demonstration center on home-based aged-care service was put into operation at Jinpu New District in Dalian, a port city of Northeastern China’s Liaoning Province, November 24, 2016.
As one of the 18 livelihood projects conducted by local government, the project drew an investment of more than one million yuan, covering a construction area of over 560 square meters.
The demonstration center includes the lounge, health care and rehabilitation room, dining room, bathroom, multi-functional room, information service platform and other hardware facilities.
Apart from that, it is also equipped with seven service functions including daily aged-care service, spiritual comfort, emergency assistant, health care and rehabilitation, fast rescue, recreation and entertainment as well as intermediary service.
Taking the center as a district management platform in this field, Jinpu new district will set up ten work sites and allocate enough automotive vehicles, personnel and service facilities so as to create a 20-minute home-based aged-care service circle.
The seniors can also sign service agreements with social organizations in terms of their physical condition and service demand, enjoying their pension service in different ways.
