Guo Ming (L), on behalf of her huaband Cao Lianxin, received the prize of the "Civilized Touch" Person of the Year 2009 from Xia Deren,Secretary-general of CPC Dalian Committee.

(DALIANEWS)- Totally ten local people (or group) were granted the honor of the "Civilized Touch" Person of the Year 2009 in the coastal city of Dalian, January 14, 2010.                       

Cao Lianxin, Zhangyan,Chang Jinming, Wangjiao, a scientific research team of Dalian Technology University led by Guo Dongming, Tong Wei, Yu Baochen, Shao Chuliang and Sun Guozhen were gained the prize of the Person of the Year 2009.

The special award of the city's cover went to the excellent people who made great contributions for the development of Dalian in sixty years ever since the founding of the People's Republic of China.

The "Civilized Touch" program has been held successfully for four years since 2005. More than forty local people and groups won this honor including Qian Lingxi, the firefighting and medical care team aiding the quake-hit areas in Sichuan, the Davos work team and the North Sea Flight Rescue Team.

Zhangyan was granted the honor of the "Civilized Touch" Person of the Year 2009, Dalian.

Chang Jinming was granted the honor of the "Civilized Touch" Person of the Year 2009, Dalian.

 Wangjiao was granted the honor of the "Civilized Touch" Person of the Year 2009, Dalian.

The scientific research team of Dalian Technology University led by Guo Dongming was granted the honor of the "Civilized Touch" Person of the Year 2009, Dalian.

Tong Wei was granted the honor of the "Civilized Touch" Person of the Year 2009, Dalian.

Yu Baochen was granted the honor of the "Civilized Touch" Person of the Year 2009, Dalian.

Shao Chuliang was granted the honor of the "Civilized Touch" Person of the Year 2009, Dalian. 

Sun Guozhen was granted the honor of the "Civilized Touch" Person of the Year 2009, Dalian.
