| (DALIANNEWS) – The weeklong National Day holiday again reaps harvest with tourism revenue totaled 984 million yuan, up 23.5 per cent year on year, said the city’s tourism bureau at the Golden Week Tourism Press Conference yesterday.
More than 1.05 million people, 24 thousand from abroad, visited major tourism spots in the port city of Dalian between September 29 to October 5, a 12.49 increase year- on- year, said the bureau.
Retail sales of consumer products during the holiday surged 7.1 per cent year- on – year to reach 214.12 million yuan, the bureau said.
Tourism at rural areas also sees flourishing as such hot spring sites as Anbo, Longmen, Minghu, Kailun and Buyunshan has received 105 thousand people with sales of 6.397 yuan, up 38 per cent year- on – year. |
