(DALIANNEWS) – “Dalian is a good place for Summer Davos,” said Klaus Schwab, chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Tianjin in northern China, September 26.

He made the remarks during his meet with Xia Deren, mayor of Dalian and Huang Xingguo, mayor of Tianjin.

He said highly on contribution by Dalian to the Annual Meeting of New Champions.

We hope a further cooperation with Dalian and expect to make investment there, said Sameer Al-Ansari, exceutive chairman of United Arab Emirates- based Dubai Investment Corporation (DIC), September 26.

“As the champion city of China’s economic development, Dalian has big potential in such industries as manufacturing, tourism and land development,” said Xia Deren, adding that there’re large areas of cooperation between the two in estate, infrastructure construction, finance and tourism.
