He made the remarks during his meet with Xia Deren, mayor of Dalian after he visiting Changxing Island Industrial Park, a growing favorite investment area where South Korea’s Stx has located.

Japan- based Sojitz Corporation Group was merged from Nichimen Corporation and Nissho Iwai Corporation, two global top 500 enterprises with over a century of history on April 1, 2003.

 The Sojitz Group, centered on Sojitz Corporation, consists of 619 companies (as of June 30, 2008), including 194 subsidiaries and affiliates in Japan and 425 overseas. The number of consolidated employees totaled 18,440 as of March 31, 2008.
