(DALIANNEWS) – Dalian girl Zhang Wenxiu won women’s hammer throw bronze with her 74.32m finals throw at the ongoing Beijing Olympic Games August 20, 2008. It’s the second medal Chinese team has won in track and field.

The home favorite failed to beat Belorussian Aksana Miankova, 26, in the final yesterday. The latter won the gold medal with an Olympic record-breaking 76.34m throw.
