(DALIANNEWS) – The city’s Civil Affairs Sector on Tuesday said that as of July 29, over 2,000 couples have preengaged to be married at a registry in Dalian on August 8, 2008. The number has made a record. Many of them want to coordinate their engagement with the Beijing Olympic Games.
