| (DALIANNEWS) – Global financing giant Standard Chartered is going to open its Dalian branch at the end of this year, said Dalian Daily today August 5, 2008.
Chartered, which was approved by China Bank Supervision Commission to set branch in the city on July 23, will become the ninth foreign- invested bank.
The bank, who ranks the 390th on Forbes Top 500, has made financing operations in 56 countries.
As of July this year, Chartered has had 14 branches in the Chinese cities (mainland) of Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Xiamen, Chengdu, Suzhou, Qingdao, Chongqing, hangzhou and Nanchang. |
