Dalian Natural Museum

(DALIANNEWS)- Dalian government is to open local museums to the public for free, news announced at the city’s culture conference, March 5, 2008.

Chinese government has vowed to open museums, memorial halls and national patriotism education bases to the visitors for free in two years.

Local museums are busy preparing for this free-admission experiment with a positive attitude. Citizens in Dalian are warmly expecting the upcoming “free era”.

Though the free-admission experiment may cause great difficulties in increasing varieties of collections and safeguarding the items on display, the museums are trying their best to offer a sound environment to visitors.

Museums with local historical and cultural features are suggested to be set up in Dalian.
