Children in the city of Dalian are excited in camping the polar environment.
(DALIANNEWS) - Over 100 children experienced the living under the polar environment at the Ocean Park Polar Aquarium in the port city of Dalian February 27, 2008.
They eat, have competition on ocean and polar science knowledge, watch the behavior of polar animals at night and even sleep at the camp in the aquarium.
The local tourism authority holds the activity for primary and middle school students, namely Experience the Polar Night Life, in a bid to create a chance to closely observe the difference of behaviors of polar animals between day and night.
A summer camp will also be held in August this year during the Beijing Olympics.
