(DALIANNEWS)- Dalian University of Foreign Languages (DUFL) set up the second Confucius Institution Overseas in Okayama Shoka University, Japan, November 25, 2007, so as to promote Chinese culture.

It is the eighth institution of its kind in Japan. The institution is to be started up with activities including Chinese lectures and public speeches in April next year.

DUFL has run schools with 110 colleges from over 20 countries and districts in the world in recent 43 years. It established its first Confucius Institution in Russia in September this year.
