People beat drums to celebrate the opening ceremony of the Dalian Offshore National Geological Park.

Dalian Offshore National Geological Park opened on November 12, 2007.

(DALIANNEWS)- Dalian Offshore National Geological Park opened at Jinshi Beach in Dalian, a coastal city of northeastern China's Liaoning Province, November 12, 2007, on the day of the 15 anniversary of the establishment of Jinshi Beach.

The Jinshi beach covering an over 30 li coastal line has its unique coastal karst landform in China.

The park with an area of 216.42 sq kilometers was officially approved to be found by the Ministry of Land and Resources P.R.C on September 19, 2005.

Totally 60 million RMB yuan was expected to be invested on Dalian Offshore National Geological Park.

At meanwhile, Dalian Jinshi Geological Museum kicked off.
