(DALIANNEWS)- The Third National Spoken English Contest for the Youth, Dalian Part kicked off May 6 at the city’s Youth Palace Cinema.
Jointly sponsored by China Service Center for the Development of the Youth under Communist Youth League under the Central Committee, China Science Academy of the Kid, Communist Youth League under Dalian Committee and organized by the Municipal Youth Palace, the contest was signed up of over 600 people, 57 entering the final, Dalian District. They will participate, on behalf of Dalian, in the final nationwide in Beijing in July.
The annual contest is themed at Encouraging Communication in English, Stimulating the Interest in Studying Foreign Language and Fostering the Practical Ability in Foreign Language to Promote the Comprehensive Quality of the Youth in a All Around Way.
