Info-sharing Between Tax Administrations And Industry & Commerce Administration

For a long time, there is large number difference of enterprise under the administration between Tax Bureau and Administration for Industry and Commerce, especially for the number of Individual Industrialists and merchants, which resulted in the erosion of tax revenue.

In order to solve this problem, State Administration of Taxation and State Administration of Industry and commerce jointly issued a Notice, from September 1st, 2003, there will be information exchange and sharing between the two organizations.

With the reference of the Notice, Administration for Industry and Commerce should provide the information to Tax Administration, such as registration, alternation, cancellation of registration, license revoked, yearly examination and so on. Tax Administration should provide information to Administration for Industry and Commerce, such as the cancellation of tax registration, the enterprise name list, which should be revoked the license and abnormal enterprise.

After 2003 yearly examination of Business License, all the Administration for Industry and Commerce should provide the name list of enterprises registered (including old record) to Tax Administration, who will check the enterprise one by one before June 2004.With the reference of the Notice, Administration for Industry and Commerce should provide the information to Tax Administration, such as registration, alternation, cancellation of registration, license revoked, yearly examination and so on.
